    By putting the extra sensor next to the slits, the wavefunction collapses and the electron is ‘forced’ to go through only 1 slit. This means that either A1 or A2 will be zero, thus the phasefactor that causes the interference pattern will also be zero. The resulting intensity pattern consists of 2 lines behind the slits, as one would expect from ‘usual’ particles.
