    Is it possible for a normal train to get that kind of speed? Also there would be a lot of rumble I think. Now maybe with a train that levitates (based on electromagnetism), this would be possible. Another inconvenience is that there would be a lot of distance needed to get the train at this speed. This could be solved by using a circular track, a bit like how they accelerate particles at CERN.

    I have the same concerns with the issue, but also added how resonant scattering with light at an energy that could excite surrounding air molecules would need a vacuum. So that indeed the scale of the experiment must be small with circular speed as an option.
