Suppose the child is on outside of the carrousel holding a bar magnet and a electrically charged ball. In the middle of the carrousel is a magnetometer that measures the magnetic field strength of the bar magnet, this is equivalent to the contribution of the electron’s spin. The rotating/accelerating charged ball also generates a magnetic field that can be measured by the magnetometer in the middle of the carrousel. This is equivalent to the contribution of the electron rotating around the nucleus
