    the electrons can be considered as a bar magnet generating a magnetic field, but it can also be considered as a charged ball in orbit like on a carrousel. This orbiting charge also contributes to the total magnetic field generated by the electrons that is felt by the nucleus or child in the center. The child has a spin as well or thus a magnetic moment.
