    The moment you put an extra sensor next to the slits, the electrons will act differently and there will be no interference pattern. Instead there will be two bands of high intensity, like in the classical case. I guess this means the total intensity can be found by taking the sum of the modulus squared of the two amplitudes, because there is no interference: I = |A1|^2+|A2|^2.
