    The measurement collapses the wave function, hence the elctron only has two possible states left: through slit 1, or through slit 2. The intensity pattern is therefore 2 bands. Now how to see this? Because of the measurement, the intensity is decided only by one electron through a specific slit. The interference term therefore dissappears.
