    If you put a sensor next to the slits and measure where the electron goes, you will get 2 maxima directly behind the slits, because by measuring one breaks down the wave-function and the electron acts as if it was matter.
    You can calculate the probability of this by using a modulus squared operation on the two amplitudes and sum them up.
