explanation to a child

Imagine you are a child on a carousel, in your hand you have an electrically charged ball. In the middel of the carousel there is a man with a magnetometer, this measures magnetic fields. Now the carousel starts turning and you are on a horse at the outside of the carousel. Because you hold an electrically charged ball you will generate a magnetic field, and the man on the in the middle will see this on his magnetometer. Now imagine you replace the ball with a bar magnet. A bar magnet has a magnetic field accompanied with it and the man in the middle will see this on his magnetometer although it will be smaller than the magnetic field generated by the ball. Now you take back the ball but you stand next tot the man in the middle, you are not supposed to be there and a magnetic field is generated to repel your electrical ball away from the middle.
