    If we measure the position of the electron with some decent precision every time interval, its spatial distribution will have spherical symmetry.( For a 15 year old: no matter how you turn your graph, it will look the same.) If we took the 90% ( or insert any other percentage) closest datapoints with respect to the origin, it constitutes a sphere.
