    a) For the ground state of this Cd isotope, we find:
    µ = -0.5948861 times the nuclear magneton
    I = 1/2
    Using this together with the formula in the slides, we find that the g-factor is -1.1897722.

    For the 245 keV state, we find
    µ = -0.766 times the n.m.
    I = 5/2
    which yields a g-factor value of -0.3064.

    b) Don’t know what is meant by a magnetic moment of 1 mu_B

    c) This g-factor gives the neutron a magnetic moment of -1.913*µ_N
