    1a. From the table: mu(groundstate)=-0.5948861nm, I=1/2 so g=mu/I=-1.18977 mu was given in nuclear magnetons). For the excited state, g=-0.3064.

    1b. The spin of a free electron is 1/2. Given that the formula for a free electron is mu=g*mu_B*S, we find that g=2.

    1c. The free neutron also has a spin of 1/2. So mu=g*mu_N*S=1.913mu_N
