I´m doing my Ph.D. at Annie Powells group at KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology). I´m a chemist, did my bachelors in Heidelberg and my masters here in Karlsruhe and I´m currently investigating magnetic interactions in lanthanide based clusters. Therefore its quite nice to get further insight into hyperfineinteractions and how to work with them. And this is what I´d actually like to learn in this course ;-). Well Karlsruhe is a place a chemist should have visited because of the Ständehaus where the development of the periodic table was discussed but also for everyone else it is interesting. There are not so many cities in europe where you can see a pyramid.
