    lowest level: J = 3/2, S = 1/2, L = 2
    Landé g = 0.8
    highest level: J = 5/2, S = 1/2, L = 2
    Landé g = 1.2

    GS La in solid: La will become La3+ and will have will therefore have a Landé g factor of 0.
