    1) For the lowest level:
    Total Quantum Numbers
    1.5
    Spin Quantum Numbers

    Orbital Quantum Numbers

    2) For the highest level:
    Total Quantum Numbers
    2.5
    Spin Quantum Numbers
    0.5
    Orbital Quantum Numbers

    3) The ground state of the La atom. The ground state is 2D_3/2 and when its in metal we have a crystal field here. However, it’s a rare earth metal, thus we’ll have shielding from the outermost orbitals. Thus crystal field splitting won’t that drastic. Maybe it’ll be 0.8 as well?
