The one example that is the most useful is antenna. Its working is based on the moving oscillating dipoles which generate electromagnetic waves. Another example would be ferroelectrics and ferromagnetics which are used in a lot of daily appliances such as capacitors. In dielectric spectroscopy an oscillating electromagnetic field is used to vibrate these dipoles. While we increase frequency dielectric constant decreases,because dipoles become unable to follow oscillating field. From this dielectric spectrum we can calculate materials structures.
