    1. the exponential decay is because the number of events envolves as a function of 1/lifetime.

    2.for every transition detected at detector 1, it’s highly likely accompanied with a event at dectector 3 due to the dipole shape of the transition probability. However, not every event detected at detector 1 will follow by event at detector 2 since the lower transition probability along the detector 2.
