The first sentence I didn’t understand was:
‘In
low-symmetry systems the axis system that defines the anisotropy in the g-value need not
necessarily be the same axis system that defines the anisotropy of a central hyperfine system.’ on page 19 of the introduction to EPR spectroscopy. I would have thought such a disambiguity between the axis systems would occur in high symmetry systems instead of low ones.
