Hello, my name is Michael Heines. I did my Bachelors in physics in Hasselt University and I’m currently in the first year of my masters at KU Leuven. I live in Genk (Limburg) which is in my opinion a very nice city and it offers a couple very nice places for walking. I’m 20 years old so I haven’t had a job yet, but I hope to get a job in nuclear physics research after my education. From this course I expect to learn the fundamental background of the hyperfine interaction and how to apply methods based on this for experimental purposes. Some of my interests outside physics are basketball and speedcubing
