    The first properties that come to mind are mass and charge: Nuclei are charged positively as they are made up of protons (positively charged) and neutrons (neutral).

    Some nuclei can decay into other nuclei and the frequency of that happening is quantified with the half-life.

    There are also characteristic energies associated with breaking a nucleus down into it’s constituents.
