When considering the quantum situation given in the video we know that the energy levels were splitted due to their orientation. In its classical case, this corresponded to angles having a miminum and a maximum energy level. If we would now consider a quantum situation where we have a degenerate energy level, than the energy levels would not split. This should then correspond to all angles having the same energy value, as their should be no minimum or maximum. As such the quantum and classical energy levels should be indistinguishable.
