    The radiofrecuency corresponds to the hyperfine energy, because at this energy the energy difference between the hyperfine levels are bridged. Because the anisotropy gets smaller without the hyperfine anisotropy, we know its sign must be positive with respect to the applied field, since it increases its effect on anisotropy (this means the net field on the nuclei is larger with hyperfine effects).
