    (1) I don’t understand what is meant by ‘information about the nucleus’. For the hyperfine interaction; the levels are equidistant and therefore indicate that we only have a hyperfine field (no quadrupole interaction).

    (2) As explained in the video, the orientation of a nuclear ensemble at low temperature in these conditions will be pear-shaped, with m=+1 mostly populated.
