It was said that there is no monopole radiation for the electro-magnetic field. However, maybe as a pure monopole will not occur, it can still be observed by viewing at the top view of an antenna right?
Looking at the top part of the antenna we see an onscillating point charge (if the antenna is 1D). So the 2D view is identical to that of a monopole radiation right?
