Hi, I’m Victor Navarro de la Torre and this is my little “about me” discussion in the forum. I study physics in Leuven and that’s also where I am taking this course from. I live in Brussels, but as I have family here in Leuven and I am most of the time here I consider this city also as my home. If you ever come here you should go to the Oude Markt at night, that’s where you’ll find the most fun to go party :). Then lastly, I am not quite sure what this course entails because from the ECTS fiche it looks like a very general course that couples different domains in physics, so I hope it will give me some interesting tools to help me along my future career.

Considering is there a particular reason why you went to study in Leuven? I was under the impressions the VUB also has a good physics program.

Hi Guillaume,

I don’t know, I never really thought about that. For me it was a given that I would study in Leuven because the university is so well known and it has so good connections everywhere. Also just because a majority of my family has studied there, so not only was I sure it would be a good university, I also saved myself time researching each university and such haha, so if you really want to put a word on it, my decision was based on lazyness.
