    a) The magnetic moment for the Cd-111 ground state is -0.5940 nm and for the 245 keV excited state, the magnetic moment is -0.766 nm. The spin and parity is respectively 1/2 + and 5/2 +. The g-factors that satisfy these observations are respectively -1.188 and -0.3064.
    b) As the electron is a fermion with spin 1/2 the g-factor of a free electron with a magnetic moment of 1 mu_b is 2.
    c) Also the neutron is a fermion with spin 1/2, the magnetic moment of a free neutron with a g-factor of -3.826 is therefore equal to -1.913 nuclear magnetons
